Navtej, the eldest son of a Punjabi family in India marries Ranjit from Canada with the condition that his sister Rimpi and brother Gurtej would marry partners chosen by Ranjit’s parents. His family agrees to these state of affairs in order to immigrate to Canada.
Navtej’s joint family has been living together under one roof. But as time passes, emotions begin to change, small matters become large problems. How will this family exist under the conditions they have agreed to? Will these conditions create an uncertainty between their relationships destroying the closeness they shared back home in India?
